Happy 1st Birthday, Big Girl!!

On Saturday, September 13th, Michel and I hosted our first ever baby birthday party. To continue our owl theme from her nursery to the Look Whooo Is Getting Older posts that I've done since she was born, I chose to do a Look Whooo is 1 Year Old party. I ordered everything off of Etsy, printed it at Fed Ex Office, and then cut and mounted everything myself. Ummm....what was I thinking??? I started off doing a little bit at a time, so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed to do everything at the last minute, but as always, my natural procrastination set in, and here it was the day of the party and I was still scrambling to get little things taken care of. Luckily, my in-laws had come into town the night before, and were more than happy to come over at 9am on Saturday and watch Audrey so Michel could mow the lawn and I could take care of last-minute birthday to-dos. :) When it was all said and done, I thought it turned out really cute!

This smash cake....oh. my. goodness. It caused me the biggest headache. Ever. I got it from Wal-mart. Need I say more? No, j/k, I do like Wal-Mart. Issues started when I placed the order. The baker was not on duty, so a guy who really didn't know what he was doing took my order. He didn't know how to put down the proper page number of the cake that I wanted, icing colors, etc., and assured me, "the baker would know." Yeah. Right. So I went back a couple days later when the baker was there to clarify everything that the baker didn't "just know." However, even after talking tot he baker, telling her that I wanted the cake to look exactly like the picture shown (a big 1 - not filled in) with the name "Audrey" inside of it, I wasn't thrilled when I saw what she had done, but it was OK. Oh, and I said that I would pick it up at 6pm the night before. When I got there (at 6:02), there was NOBODY in the bakery!!! I had to hunt down a manager, get them to page someone to the bakery, and that had me frustrated. Then as I was paying I noticed the sticker with the description on it said it was a white cake when I had ordered a chocolate cake. Urrrrgghhh....but anyways, if that was the only issue we had with the party I think we did pretty good!

As guests arrived, I asked them to each take a picture with the birthday girl so that we could remember everyone who came to celebrate our special day. We invited grandparents, aunts/uncles/cousins, a few of my friends that Audrey and I regularly do play dates with, and our small group. Unfortunately, illnesses had left many people unable to attend, but we still partied hard and had a great time!

Aunt Janette, Karys, and Audrey (Zane was one of the sick ones, and had to stay home with his dad...we missed them both!)

Nana and Granddaddy

Mommy and Daddy

Josh, Jax, and Jessica

Grandpa and Grandma
Erin, Eva Mae, and Richard
Once everyone arrived, we had pizza for lunch. Audrey ate almost an entire piece of pizza minus the crust. My girl can put away some food! After pizza we moved straight to presents. Since Audrey had opened presents that Michel and I gave her just a few days prior on her actual birthday, she was a total pro! For this birthday we could have gotten her tissue paper and she would have been happy, but she has loved all of her gifts!

After presents, we undressed the birthday girl to get ready for smash cake. I think she must have been too full from her pizza because she barely touched her cake...and I've given her cake before, and she scarfed it down! At her party...not so much, lol!

She was very cautious with her cake
All in all, we had a great party experience! Plus, after the party was over she took a 2+ hour nap! That's a sign that we were partying hard!

We love you, sweet girl!

Our Sweet Cupcake!

For Audrey's 1st birthday, I really wanted to get some professional pictures done. After some FB polling, I was reminded that one of my sister's high school friends/college roommate was a professional photographer. I contacted her, and her price for a mini session was exactly the price that Michel and I had decided was a fair amount when we started talking about getting some pictures done. The price included a 20-minute shoot and 8 images to choose from that Kristy would release the print rights for, so that I could get however many prints in whatever sizes that we choose. We haven't ordered any yet, but I will be soon, so that I can get them hung up in our house. Anyways, choosing 8 was so hard, but we were SOOOO happy with her work! If you're looking for a great photographer in the Dallas area, pick Kristina McCaleb Photography. You won't regret it! And if you do, tell her that I suggested her, and I'll get $25 put towards future photo shoots :)

Check out her awesome work!

My FAVORITE picture! Just look at that face! :)

Love, love, love these beautiful pictures, and of course, this sweet big girl!

Look Whooo Is 1 YEAR old!!!

Happy 1st birthday to the sweetest girl I know! I feel like we just brought her home from the hospital. I remember everybody telling me when she was first born that the time would fly by. At the time, I was doing good to get 2 hours of sleep 3 times a night, so I was ridiculously tired, and thought we would never make it through. Ha! Obviously, we made it through, and this girl has been such a fun addition to our lives! I can't imagine not having her. When she's fed and rested, she is soooo happy, easy-going, and loves to make people laugh. She is so blessed to be loved by so many people, and she loves them all, too!

Length: 28 1/2 inches (25th %ile)

Weight: 19lbs 2oz (25th %ile)

Head circumference: 17 inches (10th %ile - Michel and I can't believe her head size is so low in %ile....I feel like she has a big head - especially when I'm having to stretch out the neck of her shirt to go over her big head!)

Teeth: She has 5 1/2! 3 on top, 2 full ones on bottom, and one is poking through on the bottom. Her front two teeth came in so slowly and seemed to make her uncomfortable; these new teeth coming in don't seem to be bothering her at all.

Sleep: Audrey still takes 2 naps a day, but I'm pretty sure she's starting to transition to 1. She still needs 2, but she is fighting that afternoon nap big time. Today, it took her half an hour to fall asleep, and then she only slept for 30 minutes! But then on her party day, she slept for an hour and a half in the morning, and 1hr 45min after the party! So, she does still need 2 naps, but can get by on 1. When she takes 2 naps, she generally sleeps from 10-12 and 3:30-4:30; on 1-nap days it's whenever we get home (the only time I purposely give her 1 nap are days like church days or MOPS days), but it's usually 2ish hours. She pretty much wakes every morning at 7am regardless of her bedtime the previous night. So she may sleep 11 hours or 12 1/2 just depending on last night's bedtime.

Eating: NO MORE FORMULA!!!! Though I stopped stressing about her formula intake long ago, it's still so nice to not have to fight her on trying to drink some formula. We're also trying to use up all the purees we still have around. She has lost a lot of interest in them (and who can blame her now that we offer so much table food that has flavor), but will still let us feed her one from time to time. Anyways, she LOVES cheese! She's really enjoying cow's milk, too, and she drinks quite a bit of water throughout the day. For breakfast, she usually eats half a banana (another absolute favorite food) and either toast with some jelly, a cereal bar, or some Cheerios. Lunch is usually some type of lunch meat, cheese, applesauce, broccoli, and sometimes she doesn't want anything I've fixed for her and wants whatever is on my plate. One day, she ate half (not kidding) of my tuna salad that I had made for myself. Today, I made myself a strawberry smoothie, and she decided that her snack was not yummy and she needed mine, so we shared a smoothie. She loved it! She also loves sweets. Don't worry....I try to make sure every meal is healthy and well-balanced, so I'm not giving her sweets and high carbs all the time.

Clothes: Can still wear 6-9m/9m clothes, but is growing into 9-12/12m clothes more.

New Achievements of the Month:
1. Audrey can crawl on all 4's now! No more inchworm :(
2. She can pull up to her knees....but generally saves that skill for something highly motivating!
3. Says "Dada" meaningfully! Michel walked in her room to get her out of bed this morning and she said, "Dada!" Sooo sweet!
4. Has a word for hair, TV, and phone. It doesn't sound anything like the real words, but she uses the same word for each, so I know she is trying to say them.
5. Will look at these people when named: Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, Granddaddy (sorry, Janette, I didn't test her on your name when you were here!)
6. Understands command, "dance."
7. Understands command, "lay down and go night, night." (when we're just playing around she'll do it)
8. "Points" at things using her whole hand...not a single finger. It's cute!
9. This isn't a good achievement, but she has really been testing her boundaries lately. There is a drawer on our entertainment center that she's not allowed to touch, and she knows it. She'll crawl toward it, look at us and smile, and keep crawling. When we take her away from it, she screams at us - not a mad-scream, more like she's gonna scream because she didn't get her way.

Likes:
1. Being carried
2. "Helping" with laundry (aka sitting on the couch amongst clean clothes while moving them from one section of the couch to the next)
3. Having someone make funny faces at her - she will crack up with big belly laughs!
4. Watching Mommy exercise - she was in the bedroom with me for a few minutes this morning while I was on the treadmill and she was watching me with a big smile on her face....then it turned to laughter! I must look really funny when I run :-/
5. "Exercising" with Mommy. I'll hold her and do squats or lunges around the house and she just laughs the whole time. One day, she was my weight while I did crunches. She likes being incorporated. She also likes doing crunches herself :)
6. Being the center of attention
7. Ice cream
8. Play dates
9. Chasing Ninja
10. Laying in Mommy and Daddy's bed, or the couch. I don't know why, but it's like a huge thrill for her if we put her on our bed or the couch. If she's getting close to nap time (especially if she's in our bed) she'll lay down and chillax while sucking her thumb.
11. Dancing!! She loves having dance parties with us where we hold her and dance around the living room
12. Whatever Mommy is eating

Dislikes:
1. Loud noises - the blender, hand drier in public bathrooms
2. Being taken away from desired objects that she shouldn't have

Look Whooo's Getting Older!

Once again, I have failed at blogging! I don't know what my issue is, but I do love keeping up with Audrey's monthly updates because she changes soooo much from month to month! Oh, how I love this sweetie pie so much! From her happy morning wake-ups hearing her just start talking and playing with her rattle doll to her stopping whatever she's doing to lay her head down on you and suck her thumb for some quick loves and snuggles, this girl has totally stolen our hearts and I can NOT believe that next month at this time we'll be celebrating her FIRST birthday! I still feel like we just brought her home from the hospital. How in the world is she 11 months old???

Length/Weight/Head Circumference: I don't know.

Teeth: She has 4 now! 2 bottom, 2 top

Sleep: Audrey still takes 2 naps a day...her AM one is generally around 9:30 or 10 and lasts an hour to an hour and a half; her PM nap is generally around 2:30 for about an hour and a half or two hours. She still goes to bed around 7pm, and generally wakes in the early 7:00 hour. One day this week after being very busy and Audrey missing some sleep, she slept from 6:30pm - 8:45am!!! After checking to make sure she was OK, I kind of enjoyed a quiet breakfast and two cups of coffee - babyless.

Eating: This girl LOVES food! Her bottle is a different story - she's back down to about 15oz a day, but she's about to be off of it completely, so I don't care. For breakfast, she and I usually split a banana, and she'll either eat some oatmeal, a cereal bar, Cheerios, whatever we have on hand. For lunch, she eats some Greek yogurt with some pureed fruit mixed in, and for dinner some type of pureed protein, vegetable, and then some of whatever we're eating. She is the best eater, and will literally eat anything you put in front of her. I haven't found any food that she refuses to eat. I hope this continues throughout childhood!

Clothes: She's generally in 6-9m, and 9-12m; as well as 9m and 12m.

New Achievements of the Month:
1. Audrey can crawl! OK, it's an inchworm, it's cute, and it gets her where she needs to go! You should see her crawl towards Ninja now :) She has a big smile on her face, and he has a look of terror lol :)
2. She can also sit up from laying down
3. Claps anytime she hears the words: clap, yay, good girl, good job. Sometimes she just claps because she's proud of herself, or just because :)
4. Says "mama"! She has said it to me several times while looking at me. Talk about melting your heart!
5. Knows Ninja's name. If I say anything about him, she looks his direction. If she can't see him, she'll look around on the floor and then look at me like "Uhhh...where is Ninja?"
6. Understands the word "fan." She'll immediately look at the ceiling fan.
7. Mimics the words "thank you" very clearly!
8. Tries mimicking most anything you say (especially "good", and "good girl")
9. Goes through clothes piece by piece, looking at each one and saying her version of the word "cute" because I did that one day when going through a big sack of clothes donated to us by a friend. It's soooo cute to see her do it! She probably thinks the word for clothes is "cute" but we'll let that one slide for now :)

Likes:
1. Being carried
2. Play dates
3. Sitting in a pile of clothes - seriously, it's where I put her now when I'm changing out laundry or going to the bathroom because she'll stay there, and she's super happy when surrounded by clothes (watch out, Michel, when she becomes a teenager we'll be paying big bucks on clothes for her!)
4. Ninja - she can't figure out why he doesn't seem to return the feelings. He tends to walk away when she crawls too close, but today, he actually got close to her and started rubbing his face all over her foot, and he let her pet him several times - even if she pulled some fur! He's slowly becoming acclimated to the "new" person in our house!
5. Putting the burp rag on her head (or having you do it to her) and playing Peek-a-Boo
6. Eating table food
7. Cuddling

Dislikes:
1. Being told "no"
2. Diaper/clothes changes
3. Stroller rides
4. Being set on the floor when she really wants to be held
5. The blender - if she's awake, even if she's not in the same room, it's made her cry the 2 times I pulled it out.

Here are some fun pictures that I've taken of her recently:

This is an action shot of her eating a cereal bar - it cracks me up that she has it from her chin to her nose!

This picture doesn't accurately portray how messy she was with dinner. She ended up with food on her neck, in her hair....I had to give her a bath afterwards, and I hadn't intended on doing so today!
This is the only way I can take her shopping without utter meltdown. And even then, it better be a 15-minute trip - MAX!
I have a lot more on my phone that blogger doesn't seem to be finding! Urrrgghhh...oh well, I'll do another post of cute pictures I've taken another day. I don't feel like messing with it now. :)

Look Whooo's Getting Older!!

This precious baby is 10 months old!! Can I even still call her a baby when she's 10 months? Though there is so much she can't do, there is SOOOO much that she can do, and I feel like this month she really flourished in showing me how much she understands, how smart she is, and how big her personality is!

She's still not crawling, pulling to a sitting position from laying down, cruises, etc., but I didn't crawl until I was a year old, so I'm not concerned. She also has a body type like mine - longer torso, short arms and legs, and all of her weight is in her little baby belly and thighs, so I'm sure it kind of throws off her proportions and makes it harder to be mobile. I don't have anything to back up this theory of mine, but she rolls everywhere she wants to go, so it's not like she's totally immobile. Plus, if she can crawl, she might not get carried around everywhere and that is still her favorite mode of transportation! She's a turkey :)

Length/Weight/Head circumference: I don't know. I haven't even attempted to measure since her appointment last month!

Teeth: Audrey has a new tooth! Her two top center teeth are popping through, but the one on the left has fully popped through the gums. She got her bottom two teeth just a couple days shy of when she turned 6 months.

Sleep: Audrey takes 2 naps a day. Generally, a morning nap from 9:30-10:30 (about half the time she'll sleep until 11), and again from 2-4. She usually goes to bed around 7pm, and is up anywhere from 6:45-7:30 the next morning. She has FINALLY started going back to sleeping in a little bit. I'm loving it!

Eating: Her eating FINALLY is not stressing me out anymore! She eats 3 bottles a day: one when she first wakes up in the morning, one when she wakes up from her morning nap, and one before bed. She generally eats 15-20 (yes, 20!) oz a day. She eats 3 solid meals a day.

Clothes: She's in 9m or 9-12m clothes. She only has 2 pair of pajamas that fit her! I need to go shopping!

New achievements of the month:
1. Understands when you say, "can you give Mommy a kiss?" When she's in the mood to comply, she'll open her mouth wide, with a big smile on her face, say "ahhhh" and pretty much lick your cheek. It totally melts my heart! (I think she says "ahhh" while 'kissing' because I usually over-enunciate the 'mwah' sound, so she's trying to mimic that!)
2. Can pat her mouth with her hand to make a fun sound
3. Can clap her hands in imitation of you, or just on command without it being in imitation
4. Finally developed all of the babbling sounds and uses them constantly! ba, ka, ga, da (much to daddy's delight!), but the stinker still won't say "ma" or "mama"!
5. Says "dada" meaningfully
6. Says "nomnomnom" (or her version of it) while chewing because I do that to her a lot while she's eating
7. I am working, working, working on signs for her, and she's just not getting it (I blame myself because I give in), BUT I did figure out when she's eating and wants more (though the last two days she has done a few approximations of "more"), but otherwise, she smacks her lips together! I don't know where she learned that, but I guess it can count as a sign because I know what she wants :)

I feel like I'm forgetting things, but I really feel like she has gained so many new skills in the last month! I need to write these things down.

Likes:
1. Being held/carried
2. Eating anything off Mommy and Daddy's plates
3. Men - she is a serious flirt! We went to dinner tonight, and one of the managers came by to ask how our service was, etc., and she immediately started making eyes at him, and then held her arms out for him to pick her up! He came back around at the end of our meal, and she held out her arms again, so he asked if I minded, and I let him, and she immediately laid her head down on his shoulder and cuddled up to him! We have trouble on our hands..... ;)
4. Cuddling - she is such a good snuggler. She'll just randomly stop playing (if she's being held) and lean into you or lay her head down on your shoulder while sucking her thumb and just need a quick cuddle for a minute. She greets me with a cuddle every morning, and it is the sweetest thing in the world. She is such a sweet baby!
5. Playdates - the more attention, the better!
6. Her cousins
7. Her grandparents
8. Independent play time (she really loves it after her afternoon nap...I don't know why, I just can count on her entertaining herself for 20-30 minutes with toys on the floor during this time)
9. Cell phones - if she can see yours, she will fuss to let you know she "needs" it

Dislikes:
1. Stroller rides while buckled in - if I can leave her unbuckled (safely), I will, and I've learned she is much happier in it
2. Being put on the floor when she wanted to be held
3. If someone walks away (even if they're just a few feet away and still in her eyesight)
4. Diaper/clothes changes
5. Having a desired item taken away - she'll yell at you

This little girl is so full of personality, and I just love her to death! I can't believe we're 2 short months away from her first birthday!!

Audrey's 1st 4th of July!

I've been on a major blog hiatus. I haven't posted in quite a long time, and I haven't even read my friend's blogs that often (sorry, guys!). But I just got back from a little "staycation" and have some pictures from it, and want to blog about it before I forget about all the fun we had.

The first few days of July had Michel working everyday. He worked at one job or another on July 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6th. Seriously, love this man for working so hard for our family! My sister and her two kids were already planning on coming in town and so I asked Michel if he minded if Audrey and I went over there so that we weren't stuck at home all day with nothing to do. Of course, he didn't mind, so on Tuesday, July the 1st we headed over to my parents' house. I stopped for lunch along the way to eat lunch with my best friend and her two kids (she also lives in Forney). Why do I never remember to take pictures when we get together? Anyways, Tuesday was just everybody arriving at my parents' house. Audrey absolutely LOVES the special attention she gets from her grandparents, Aunt Janette, and her cousins. Every time Karys sees Audrey, she will repeatedly tell me, "she's so cute"; "she's the cutest baby every". It's so sweet! Audrey is always full of smiles, and laughter when Zane and Karys interact with her which usually fuels them to keep playing with her :)

Wednesday was my favorite day! We all went to Hawaiian Falls! For all of you who are friends with me on Facebook, you saw me trying to get coupons for it because it was much more expensive than I remembered it being in the past! So, thanks to Katy, and another friend, we headed to Hurricane Harbor with a Buy 1 Adult Get 1 Kid Free ($20 savings!) and $7/1 adult, so we all paid about $20 per person to get in. Audrey was free! We went right after an early lunch. I wanted Audrey to get in a good morning nap, so that she would be awake for our fun in the sun! Well...as with all babies, your plans are not their plans. We arrived around 1:00. Audrey had woken up from her AM nap around 11 or 11:30. She was acting SOOOO sleepy by 1:00. For the first couple hours that we were there, she was incredibly quiet, and not fussing, but not acting like she was having any fun. She finally fell asleep while I was holding her, and slept for a good 30 minutes. Once she woke up, her demeanor was much more like what we're used to...splashing in the pool, full of smiles, intently watching all of the kids playing. Once again, I failed to take pictures! What is wrong with me?

On Thursday, we went to the Perot Museum. Once again, Audrey was super tired, but still managed to stay in a good mood with little meltdowns here and there. It's really geared for older kids, so Karys and Zane had a blast, and I know Audrey enjoyed having new plans thrown into her schedule. I did remember to take some pictures here....finally!
An example of her mini-meltdown from not having a nap. That face is pitiful!

The museum had a children's museum with one part specifically designed for babies. It would have been better if she could crawl, but on the wall there were flowers that you could spin and it had seeds or something inside that made sounds that she loved! There was also a mirror on the other side of this sunflower where she could watch herself do tricks. :)

Karys is such a sweet cousin to Audrey! She loves reading Audrey books...and Audrey loves the attention showered on her by Karys :)

She did finally give into her exhaustion and took a nap...for about 5 minutes!

Audrey and her sweet cousins!
On Friday, Janette and the kids went out after lunch, but that morning we went to Heath (small town between Forney and Rockwall) for their 4th of July parade. My best friend, and her family, always rides in the parade on an old firetruck that her dad redid (Michel and I rode off on the firetruck after our wedding). But the kids enjoyed watching the horses and the band, and some of the floats that went through! Audrey enjoyed trying to eat grass :) But we got some really cute pictures out of it, and I just adore Audrey's outfit!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

...well, a few days late :)

Look Whooo's Getting Older!

This says 8 months, but it should say 9 months. I don't feel like re-editing it. :)
9 months of fun!
How in the world is this baby girl 9 months old already?? She is so much fun, loves being the center of attention and getting a laugh, she is at independent play....until Mommy sits down with breakfast and her morning cup of coffee, and then she suddenly needs a playmate, or a lap to sit in!

On Tuesday, we went for her 9-month well-check (no shots this time!) and we had to fill out a questionnaire about her developmental abilities. She passed it (which didn't surprise us)! After asking some questions about her gross motor skills (her weakest area), our pediatrician came to a conclusion that Michel and I have known all along: our little girl is lazy :) Why crawl to a toy when you can roll? Why cruise around furniture when Mommy can carry you around all day long? She's doing pretty good with her communication and cognitive skills. She babbles, but it still is mainly just with the "bababa" sound. I hear "ga," "da," and "ka" from time to time. We talked to her pediatrician about it, so the first question we were asked were in regards to her hearing which we have no worries about. It's very obvious that she has really impeccable hearing, so the doctor said we wouldn't worry about it right now. We were also told if she's not crawling or cruising by a year old, we might be referred for early childhood intervention. Since I didn't crawl until a year old, and Michel virtually went from scooting on his butt to walking, so I'm really not concerned about her ability to move - especially since she rolls everywhere. Anyways, onto her stats:

Length: 26 3/4" (25th %ile)

Weight: 17lbs 14oz (25th %ile)

Head circumference: 16 3/4" (10th %ile)

Sleep: Audrey takes 2 naps a day. The first is generally around 9:30, and lasts an hour to 1hr 15min, and an afternoon nap that generally goes from 2:00-4:00. She goes to bed around 7 or 7:30, and lately has been waking up around 6:30am. :( Even if I put her to bed later, she's still waking up in the 6:00 hour. I'm trying to accept the fact that 11 1/2 hours is still a good amount of sleep, and that I might have a light sleeper/early morning riser on my hands. I still keep her in bed until 7 in hopes that her sleep might go back to what it was, and she's totally happy just rolling around in her bed, talking, and playing with her feet, so why not give her some time for independent play, and Mommy some time to do whatever she needs to do.

Eating: Ai yi yi....m least favorite category for her! We now only give her 3 bottles a day - one first thing in the morning, one before her afternoon nap, and one before she goes to bed. She usually only eats about 18oz a day, but that's probably because she's discovered how much she likes solid food! She eats about 9oz (or more!) of pureed baby food with a mix of fruits, vegetables, meats, grains, etc. She also loves yogurt, cheese, Cheerios, bananas (real ones, not pureed ones), baby puffs, Chick-fil-a fries (just a few crumbs!), and anything else she can get off of Mommy and Daddy's plates. It serves me right because I always wanted food off my dad's plate as a young child rather than eating the exact same food that was on my plate!

Clothes: Still in 6-9m clothes, some 6m but they're getting really snug, and very comfortably in 9m onesies and pjs.

New achievements of the month:
1. Bears weight on her legs automatically when being held in a standing position
2. When being placed in her carseat, she puts her arms through the arm straps, and takes her arms out when I unbuckle her - virtually completely unassisted.
3. Will repeat every action that got a laugh...for days afterwards. Apparently her memory is getting really good!
4. Her ability to feed herself finger foods has vastly improved in the last week! Her pincer grip is getting better and better, as well as her ability to fluidly get food from her hand to her mouth.
5. I don't know the name of the toy, but those toys that pop up when you slide a bar, turn a knob, push a button, etc...she can do really well. Her toy has 5 animals that pop up, and in order to make it work, she has to slide a bar, pull a knob, do a push button, move a lever up, and turn a key. She can do them all except for turning the key.

Things she likes:
1. Food! Hmmm...wonder where she got that love from?? :)
2. Being carried around
3. Playing in her jumperoo
4. Watching Veggie Tales (hey, it's the only way Mommy can get breakfast and coffee in the morning time!)
5. Playing "ball" - me or Michel will sit in the floor and roll a ball back and forth with her. Every time she rolls it, she does her "rolling" hand gesture that she does in Pat a Cake, too! She's a cutie!

Things she doesn't like:
1. Being in her stroller
2. Going to the grocery store
3. Having a desired toy/object taken away from her - she will let you know that she's not happy about it!
4. Having her diaper changed
5. Having her face wiped

I have lots of pictures on my phone and in my camera that didn't have a proper place, so enjoy some random pictures of this cutie! :)

This is how I found her when she wasn't taking a nap yesterday - she untied a bumper pad! In her defense, she had pooped and couldn't sleep, so once I changed her she took a nice long nap for me!

She rolled partially under this entertainment center

She loves her Jumperoo!

We take advantage of any nice days and play outside to break up the monotony of playing inside

Sometimes eating makes her sleepy

Her cute patriotic outfit that she wore on Memorial Day

She loves feeding herself :)
We're only 3 short months away from her FIRST birthday! I can not believe it!
